I use Philadelphia if it's on sale and the store brand isn't. Otherwise, I use the store brand. I can detect absolutely no difference.

Philadelphia cream cheese is good but I never heard of cream cheese being used in a lasagna; usually it is ricotta cheese.
Please tell me that was a typo or i will be here answering that one all night!
You can use cream cheese to cook, and Philadelphia is the one I use all the time.
