Anyone have any creative and unique ideas for a pizza and ice cream eatery?

It would be in a small town, want it to be a ';cool'; place for teens to hang out, cool decor, unique menu items and creative ways to make pizza and ice cream. Any ideas would be appreciated... thanks!Anyone have any creative and unique ideas for a pizza and ice cream eatery?
That's a cool idea and I think teens would love it!





I think if you make it bright and fun, kids would flock there. Like if you think about the old time diners, they have the bright stainless steel and the bright colors, you can do something like that. You can do colors like bright pinks and turquoises or red and white, something bright with stainless steel for the stools and booths, etc.





For the menu, you can offer lots of different ice cream flavors and combinations. There are so many different places right now that are doing so many different things, so they would also end up being competition. You can do both soft serve and hard ice cream, you can offer TONS of toppings from sprinkles, cookies, candies, chocolates, different types of nuts, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, whipped cream, marachino cherries, fruits, etc. Then you can offer those things mixed in and sundaes, etc. There's LOTS you can do and even just have the candies and cookies in clear jars on the counters for them to see the bright colors and allow them to choose from them what they want for their toppings.





For the pizzas, you can do different sizes from pizza for one, to pizzas to share, to take out, family size, etc. Then the many, many different types of toppings from cheese, to pepperoni, to sausages, to meatball and everything else. there is SO much you can put on them!





You can make it so that they are making their own pizzas and ice cream, NOT in the sense where they're behind the counter making it, but where they are choosing the components of the food. From the dough, to the sauce and the toppings for the pizza and then for the ice cream they pick the flavors, the toppings, and everything they would like on them. They choose everything and how they would do it. Like how many scoops, how many toppings, which ones, etc.





You can also serve milkshakes and smoothies for those that don't want ice cream, but do like to have something. You can make fresh fruit smoothies and also have fresh milkshakes using the ice cream.





You can make mini appetizer pizzas by cutting them out with cookie cutters and even making shapes with them which is great for ';finger pizzas'; or bites.





You can do pizzas on Bagels and call them breakfast pizzas, (so you can have pizza anytime day or night!)





You can do crustless pizza since some people don't like the crust.





You can do the white pizza that's popular which is pizza with just cheese.





You can serve just crusts, some people LOVE just the crusts, you can make a speciality that's just the crusts. Like the breadsticks, but for this you're making just the crusts.





You can make breadsticks too.





You can make pizzas with more than one or two cheeses, the more the merrier for some people!





There's also many different types of pizzas that you can have too, like other places, like lasagna pizza, meatball, sausage, pepperoni pizza, veggie, mushroom, etc.





You can also do personal pizzas, pizzas for two, etc.





I'm not sure about creative ways to make pizza other than the toppings. You can do shapes for certain holidays, like heart pizzas for Valentine's Day, Pumpkin shaped on Halloween, Star or Tree shaped during the holidays, Football shaped during the superbowl time.





You can do creative things with the boxes. You can support the local High School sports teams on the boxes for the pizza boxes, and for the bags, etc. You can offer discounts for the teens that attend the local schools, etc. You can offer sprinkles in the school colors, you can offer things named after the school's teams names and their mascot, etc.





You can offer special night for the teens, you can have 2 for 1 night, buy 2 slices get 1 free, you can do an ice cream sundae night where you set up an ice cream bar with some flavors of ice cream and some toppings like sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and the marachino cherries and let them make their own sundaes. You can do sports nights or tailgating nights when you know the school has big games coming up, you can do a pep rally and have the food and dessert. You can do celebrations when they win.





At Halloween you can give a small ice cream cone to anyone who comes in dressed in a costume, for the holidays you can do a buy a pie and get another half off, you can do all different promotions.





These are the things that are going to bring in the kids and their parents too. Their younger brothers and sisters too.





For the ice cream, you can put them in molds and make shapes, so you can make ice cream cakes in certain shapes, etc. All you would do is soften it and then shape it into a cake pan, etc.





Other things you can do with the ice cream is make things with the cones, you can scoop a scoop of ice cream on a plate, put a cone on top like a hat, and then make a face with candy and icing, and it will look like a clown etc.





You can also make cupcakes in ice cream cones. You can use flat bottomed cones and put the batter in them and bake them and then decorate them.





You can make little faces on the ice cream to be creative. You can cut the ice cream out with cookie cutters. You can make ice cream sandwiches with cookies, etc.

You should make it like a one stop soda shop. With like a brick oven or if brick oven is too expensive you should have it where people can see you making the food. They will not only appreciate it more seeing what they are eating but it brings back the nostalgia of the old times where they used to cook everything in front of you. Maybe get round tables with red and chrome and have the soda shop aprons and the hat. You can call it Pizza Blast from the Past Ice cream parlor something snappy like that. Maybe have some cool Pop art like Warhol replicas and some dinner car pictures would be cool. Plus it would be different ya know. Good luck hope you make a splash Daddy O!!
Years ago there was one in our town, called ';Fire %26amp; Ice';. It started as a soft ice cream stand, added pizza, then a small dining room and expanded the menu to many Italian foods. It became a favorite place on Friday nites, especially. Eventually had a beer/wine license, too.
Decorate it with teen fashion. Cell phones, skate boards, posters, jukebox with teenaged music in it. Good luck!
