How often should i apply cream to my new tattoo?

I recently got a tattoo and I was wondering how often i should apply cream to it. Is there such thing as too much?How often should i apply cream to my new tattoo?
every 2 to 3 hours, in the beginning, the more you put cream in it the better heals, so there is no such a thing as too much.

I don't think there is any risk of overdoing it so keep putting it on any time you think the cream may have worn off on clothing or just whenever it might feel dry, especially if it's around a dryer area of skin like your joints or hands. Maybe every few hours as a general rule but it won't matter too much if you deviate (and you don't need to worry about waking yourself up at night to do it, as long as you do it in the morning when you get up).
i was told to put it on as often as it got dry, as in, dont let it get dry lol
