How do you make butter cream filling?

I have made oatmeal cookies and i want butter filling in the middle of themHow do you make butter cream filling?
The best butter cream, is equal amounts of sugar and unsalted butter, beaten thouroughly till turns white and smooth, a drop or 2 of vanilla essence added in the final beating.

Must have the sugar beaten in so well cannot see the grains.

Its yum.

Can also colour with a drop or 2 of favourite food colour.

Alternative to vanilla, a drop of favourite essence, like brandy, rum, banana, chocolate, coffee or a dessert spoon of honey, maple syrup, or

a few drops of fresh squeezed lemon or orange added at half way through beating.

Good luck, bon apetite.

The buttercream I make to go on top of cakes is just a bit of butter, equal amount of margarine then cream it with an electric whisk whilst adding icing sugar till it tastes right and starts to set and go a bit stiff. If you put too much icing sugar in, just put a bit more butter or margarine in till you get it right. Also, it does end up quite sweet, you might want to put in a drop of vanilla or almond essence to make it go more with your oatmeal cookies.

Good luck :-D
Why not try getting some butter...... Some suagar..... and stir it up?
