Has anyone ever tasted it? How was it?Is the Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Mix good with FAT FREE sour cream instead of regular?
If you like fat free sour cream, than it's fine. Personally, I want some of the fat. I've also made it with half mayo, half sour cream and a bit of milk if it needed thinning to be used as a dressing vs. a dip. Now I make my own dry mix instead of buying the packets and don't have to put up with MSG and other weird stuff in the packets. Is the Hidden Valley Dry Ranch Mix good with FAT FREE sour cream instead of regular?
Sorry I can't help with your question specifically, but can I recommend Lite sour cream as opposed to fat free? Still saves you a lot of calories, and I can't taste a difference between lite and regular, vs. the fat free, which tastes awful to me.
If you have gotten used to the taste of lite, and fat-free milk products then you will probably like it just fine. If you're serious about your diet then it is worth the ';sacrifice';.
Yes it is good either way. That is actually a good question. Thank you.
I personally cannot tell the difference. If you are use to fat free sour cream than go ahead and use it.
Yes it is still very good. Still can be used as a dip and anything you want.
even if the fat free doesn't taste good on it's own, the ranch mix should help that alot
