Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?

I haven't gone to see a fertility specialist yet because I don't want to take artificial hormones, and fertility costs are so expensive. One of my infertility problems is that I have very low progesterone. I want to know if any women have had success using progesterone cream to get pregnant, and how long did it take before you conceived?Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?
you can buy a natural progesterone cream for about $25.00 from a nature store. (without a prescription).... it is also healthier on your system as it is all natural and not artificial hormones... make sure to follow directions and within 3 months your progesterone should start to balance out.

Good luck!

ps. i use a brand called ';natural woman';Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?
I am 21 with a miscarriage in my past, I started using progesterone cream before I was pregnant again. I had ok levels but I wanted them to be GREAT. I started using it and it helped out alot. After getting pregnant this time I went on prometrium then crinone. Actually your gyno can do the test and then give you script. Maybe call and ask about it!! Good Luck!!
Be careful, a lot of woman struggle with the side effects of progesterone. Look up as much as you can before you buy something cuz severe depression and anxiety are 2 of the major things that people talk about. I am on prog suppositories after IUI procedures and I hate it, I am sleepy all the time, have a headache, bloated, boobs hurt like heck and just feel down a lot.

Progesterone will not help you to get pregnant, it will help you sustain the pregnancy once the egg has implanted into your uterus. Once your body knows its not pregnant each month you end up getting your period. If the egg doesnt get fertilized then 14 days after it is released it will “self destruct” and die then your body flushes it out which is your period. If your progesterone is low your body thinks you are not pregnant and it will flush out everything, even a fertilized egg.

Make sure you get the progesterone from your doc or a pharmacist, its pretty potent stuff. Also, make sure you let your OB know you are taking it and have her/him take blood work on or around day 11 and then again on or around day 19 so they can see how your body is reacting to it.
