get some vanish spray
Either reupholstery or call the steam cleaners (they do carpets and a fantastic job on upholstered furniture)
Get a steam cleaner.
You can buy carpet and upholstery spray on cleaner which you just vacuum off when its dry.
what about carpet cleaner - actually I've just been downstairs to check my carpet cleaner cos it works grea for spot cleaning my cream carpets - it''s 'Vanish for Carpets and Upholstery' so it should do the job for you just fine. I hope so.
