This Ambrosia Recipe serves 6.How do you make the cream fruit salad?
Yes. This is Southern. If you look over the recipe collection below, you'll find about every kind of fruit dip or salad sauce you could think of. The very last one is an old fashioned Southern fruit salad dressing. That can be used for Ambrosia but can also be used for any other combo of fruits.
you put all the fruits you like in a bowl %26lt;a cut into cubes%26gt; then you add sauces into it eg.%26lt;thousand island sauce, sour cream%26gt;
I'm not for sure sure, but as I recall you just take whatever fruits you like (cut up the tough ones like apples and pineapples and such), then mix it up in some whip cream (like Cool Whip). And then you're done. Mix in a few walnuts if you'd like (I don't, I choke on the little b*st*rds), however many you'd like.
It's a southern dish called Ambrosia. Click on the link below to see the actual recipe. I wouldn't want to just copy AB's material. The dish traditionally contains cream, marshmallows, sour cream, sugar, pieces of orange %26amp; pineapple, shredded coconut, pecans, and maraschino cherries.
