yes is safe to use almost all face cosmetics last 1 year half to 2 years

Creams are usually good for a year or two.
If you've never opened it, it's probably fine. If the product is starting to separate or the texture feels funny toss it. Also, if the smell is off.. get rid of it.
Just have a look and sniff before you put it near your eyes.
