Would you eat ice cream made with breast milk?

A while back, I read an article about how PETA wanted Ben and Jerry's to make their ice cream out of human breast milk. Would any of you actually try this ice cream if it existed?Would you eat ice cream made with breast milk?
I think this is a great question!





I've always thought it was funny how people (including lots of the answers here) think drinking human milk is disgusting but have been conditioned to believe that drinking milk from a cow is perfectly normal. Seriously?





On the other hand I suppose you could use the same argument to justify cannibalism which is clearly disgusting.





So it's an interesting question. I think I would try it. Out of curiosity more than anything.





Not sure if I would contribute my milk. I guess it's not much different than donating blood though. Right?

I'll try anything once. As far as eating a product like that would honestly come down to taste versus cost. If it tastes better to me than ice cream made from cows milk and it was cost effective I'd probably eat it.





On the animal rights aspect, I doubt most PETA activists are aware that milk cattle, if not milked and weened off of the diet that is used to maximize milk generation, would become very uncomfortable, and possibly die due to infection, and/or possible resulting cancer.
I personally wouldn't eat breast milk ice cream. Although, breast milk is perfect for babies, there's milk in ice cream, I like ice cream, I'll still have to go with no. However, maybe one of my contacts would.... maybe.

If enough other people are eating it, then I might try it. I haven't tried rattle snake meat yet. That doesn't make it bad. I simply have enough other things to eat that I am not motivated to try new things.

No... I think PETA really needs to calm down a little. I'm a vegetarian, all for animal rights, but they just overreact too often.





And no I wouldnt eat it or pump and sell my own, but that's just me.

Breast milk ice cream for babies yes would I eat it no way breastfeeding is a wonderful thing I breast fed my children but I would not eat it!
I would totally sell mine, sure--but drinking someone else's would NOT happen. That'd just be weird.
