  • How can I fix a scorched cream soup?

    I'm pretty sure you can fix a cream soup but I can't find any help anywhere, help pleaseHow can I fix a scorched cream soup?
    a little scorch can be a good thing. It adds a smokey taste to the dish. I like to scorch my chili for extra flavor. Fixing it, like the other two posters said dont scrape the bottom of the pot. ladel it out carefuly and if need be make a little more cream base and add it in.How can I fix a scorched cream soup?
    What ever you do, don't scrape the bottom of the pan. Take a small spoon of the soup and taste it to see if it tastes scourched. If it doesn't, then start taking it off the top. You may have to do this several times until you get to the part that you can't use.
    By scourched, if you mean it burnt on the bottom of the pan, it should be fine if you DON'T SCRAPE THE BOTTOM OF THE POT.

    I want to know who originally made the music for the song Ice cream and cake?

    The song is by the Buckwheat boys and it's commonly heard on the Baskin and Robins tv commercial. The music being played in the background is from an old school group that i'm sure of but I can't remember the name of the original group. Please help thanks.I want to know who originally made the music for the song Ice cream and cake?
    I checked Wikipedia, but it doesn't give any info other than the group you mentioned, Buckwheat Boys, and they usually mention if a song is remake or samples other music. I've heard it, and it does sound like something older, but I'm like you, I can't quite put my finger on it.

    What do you think would happen if i was to use anti wrinkle cream at my age of 16?

    I am 16 years old and i was wandering if i was to use wrinkle cream at my age , would it increase the amount of time before i start to wrinkle?What do you think would happen if i was to use anti wrinkle cream at my age of 16?
    Well it wont do you any harm.

    But i think its pointless to be honest the best thing you can do is wear sun cream everyday... even when it is not sunny.

    Sun damage causes 95% of ageing, if you havent got wrinkles already then you dont need wrinkle cream, you just need to prevent them by using sun block everyday!

    Also take more care of the skin under your eyes.. I'm 18 and have some lines under them! Due to bad treatment! Your eye area is very sensitive.What do you think would happen if i was to use anti wrinkle cream at my age of 16?
    you would be wasting your money and it would probably be too rich for a young skin and so give you spots. Just use a light moisturizer day and night and that will be more than adequate.
    I doubt this will do anything for you. Anti-wrinkle creams are meant to restore various things in the face that have been lost over time, such as elasticity. But if you've already got this elasticity, then it'll do nothing for you. It won't give you any more or less.

    If you want to prevent signs of aging, however, you should wear sunblock. A previous post said that sun damage is responsible for 95% of all visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles, sun spots, skin damage. Wear sunblock then everytime you go out.

    Also, eat healthily. Remember what you eat is what you are -- quite literally. People who eat well, drink lots of water, will show it in their general health and their skin and bodies.

    Also, at 16, you should be worrying about other things other than looking like you're old. Maintaining your looks is only one small part of the equation to happiness. So, devote more time to finding inner sources of happiness and in growing, more so than you do with the way you look.

    After you've done enough with your looks, then just let go and live and learn.
    yes its too young.Just Moisturize 2x am/pm,and drink plenty of water,and sunscreen/sunblock
    If you put it on and made sure it was on all of the time until you were 60, you would be the best looking granny in the world.
    u would look better coz anti-wrinkle cream has high moisture content, but believe me the wrinkles would still come at the age u supposed to get them.

    oh yes, something else that would happen would be that u'd be poorer from all the money spent on a product u don't need for the next 20 yrs
    what you thinking of using that for already you dont need it at your age
    it prb. wont do anything. if you dnt want wrinkles one thing you can do to delay it is when you wash your face pat dry instead of pulling the skin
    prolly get spots =)
    Hun you don't need anti-wrinkle creams at your age!! As Gems said just use sun block on your face everyday in the summer as 9/10 its sun damage that causes wrinkles and eat a healthy well balanced diet to keep you skin supple. If you want to improve the condition of your skin tho the body shop do this awesome vitamin c treatment. Its in a little jar and its little capsules of pure vitamin c that you apply directly to your skin. Gotta be better than eating loads of spinach! lol. But to be totally honest with you wrinkles, stretchmarks, acne and things like that are usually heriditary so if your mum is prone to wrinkles chances are you will be too i'm afraid. But really, you don't need to worry about wrinkles at 16! Go out and have fun! xx
    Actually as someone who has been in the skincare and beauty industry for many years I can tell you you may do more harm then good.Anti wrinkle products are designed for mature skins and if you use them too soon you can actually make your skin lazy so it stops functioning naturally.The best anti wrinkle treatment for your age is sun cream a minimum of factor SPF 15 daily-any dermatoloist will tell you the same.

    For a good preventative caring product try SK-II Advanced Protect Essence UV for day time and Facial Lift Emulsion as your night moisturiser-this has ingredients that keep your natural collagen production balanced-naturally!

    And avoid sun beds like the plague!
    Try drinking lots of water , eating heathly , staying out of the sun, not smoking or drinking etc if you want to delay aging. Also you are 16, finish growing up then worry about getting old
    The real answer is the exact opposite of what most people have said so far.

    Do not listen to anyone that tells you anti-wrinkle cream is not bad for you, it is! It does not replace anything that is lost over time, if it did, it would not be anti-wrinkle cream, it would be immortality cream.

    Every time you put these creams on your skin, you are essentially filing in the holes in your face with lard, YES LARD. I make these things, and they have as much scientific credability as a John Prescott speach on fat free pies. They are designed to bloat your skin, which will inevitably lead to saggy jowels and cheecks much sooner in life than if you had eaten a healthy fruit and veg diet. Why do you think that soooo many women who have 'looked after themselves' with creams and unguents, end up having soooo much surgery later in life.

    Liposome means ball of fat (lipo-fat, some-sphere).
    The best thing you can do for your skin apart from sun cream is DONT SMOKE.

    Is there a difference between sour cream and buttermilk?

    i have a recipe for red velvet cake and it asks for buttermilk, could i replace the buttermilk with the sour cream. how would it turn out.

    i don't want substitutes for buttermilk, i just want to know if i can substitute sour cream for buttermilk and have better results.Is there a difference between sour cream and buttermilk?
    In a red velvet cake, it should be fine. Not all recipes can take the tang of sour cream, but this should be fine.Is there a difference between sour cream and buttermilk?
    Sour Cream has a more bitter, 'louder' taste, white Buttermilk is heavy and sweet.

    So, no, don't do it.
    For sure. One cup of sour cream will replace one cup of buttermilk. You can also use plain yogurt. :)

    How do you make basil ice cream?

    ';Homemade ice cream with an elegant basil flavor will cool down any hot summer day!';

    Original recipe yield: 2 quarts.

    Servings:

    16 (change)

    INGREDIENTS:

    * 2 cups milk, divided

    * 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves

    * 2 cups whipping cream

    * 1 cup sugar, divided

    * 7 egg yolks

    * 1 teaspoon mint liqueur (optional)

    * Garnish: fresh basil sprigs

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. COOK 1 cup milk in a heavy saucepan over low heat until bubbly. Stir in 1 cup basil leaves, and remove from heat. Cover and let stand at room temperature 20 minutes.

    2. PROCESS basil mixture in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Pour mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, discarding solids. Set aside.

    3. COOK remaining 1 cup milk, whipping cream, and 1/2 cup sugar in saucepan over medium heat, stirring often, just until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat.

    4. BEAT egg yolks and remaining 1/2 cup sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until thick and pale. Gradually stir about one-fourth of hot milk mixture into yolks; add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly. Stir in basil mixture and, if desired, liqueur; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 6 minutes or until mixture thickens and coats a spoon. Cover and chill 4 hours.

    5. POUR chilled mixture into freezer container of a 1-gallon electric ice-cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.

    6. Pack with additional ice and rock salt, and let stand 1 hour. Serve in frozen lemon shells, and garnish, if desired.

    or

    Difficulty: Easy

    Prep Time: 15 minutes

    Inactive Prep Time: 1 hour

    Yield: 1 quart

    8 loosely packed cups basil leaves

    1/2 teaspoon sea salt

    1/8 teaspoon powdered vitamin C

    1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened

    1 cup shaved, bittersweet chocolate

    Blanch the basil leaves in boiling salted water for 5 seconds, then place in an ice bath. Drain and wring the basil dry in a dish towel. Chop coarsely.

    In a food processor, puree the basil with salt, vitamin C and just enough softened ice cream to make a puree (about 3 tablespoons). You should have about 1 cup basil puree. Add the remaining ice cream and puree. Quickly take the finished pureed ice cream and transfer it from the processor back to the freezer container. Add chocolate and mix in thoroughly. Place container in freezer. Freeze for at least 1 hour.

    how about this variation?

    One of my favorite quests in regard to food is discovering unique flavors of ice cream. Although I'm likely to avoid flavors such as chicken wing, I have had black pepper, guiness stout and earl grey ice creams at various points in my life.

    I think that herbs is an underused ingredient involved in making the summer time treat. So imagine how thrilled I was when I came across a recipe from Better Homes and Gardens that includes basil. I tried it almost immediately.

    It worked out very well, with the basil adding a sweet, grassy flavor to the ice cream, giving the impression that the entire straberry, from stem to fruit, was used.

    It may not be as exotic of a flavor as fried eggplant, but it's still worth trying.

    * 1 1/2 cup whole milk

    * 1 1/2 cup heavy cream

    * 1 cup sugar

    * 6 egg yolks, beaten

    * 6-8 basil leaves

    * 3 cups strawberries, halved

    In a bowl, combine the milk and the heavy cream. Pour 1/2 of the milk mixture into a medium saucepan. Add sugar, egg yolks and basil. Crush the basil against the side of the pan using a spoon.

    Place the pan over medium heat and allow to cook until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Remove from heat and slowly stir in the rest of the milk. Place lid on saucepan and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    In a food processor or blender, puree the strawberries until very smooth. Remove the basil from the milk mixture, and stir in the strawberries. Place back in the refirgerator and allow to cool for 2-3 hours.

    Freeze the ice cream as per your ice cream makers instructions.

    (12 servings)

    or

    2 cups whole milk

    3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

    1/2 cup sugar

    4 large egg yolks

    1/2 cup well-chilled heavy cream

    Special equipment: an instant-read thermometer; an ice cream maker

    Bring milk, basil, 1/4 cup sugar, and a pinch of salt to a boil in a 2-quart heavy saucepan, stirring, then remove from heat and let steep 30 minutes. Transfer to a blender (reserve saucepan) and blend until basil is finely ground, about 1 minute.

    Beat together yolks and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until thick and pale, about 1 minute. Add milk mixture in a stream, beating until combined well. Pour mixture into reserved saucepan and cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until mixture coats back of spoon and registers 175掳F on thermometer (do not let boil). Immediately remove from heat and pour through a fine-mesh sieve into a metal bowl. Set bowl in a larger bowl of ice water and stir until cold, 10 to 15 minutes.

    Stir in cream and freeze in ice cream maker. Transfer ice cream to an airtight container and put in freezer to harden, at least 2 hours.

    Cooks' note:

    Ice cream can be made 2 days ahead.

    Makes about 3 cups.

    I would guess the same way you would add anything. If you don't want the leaves in it, steep them in warm milk before adding it to the mixture. Or add chopped leaves as well before putting it in the maker. Have you had basil ice cream before? It sounds odd, but I bet it would be good.

  • Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?

    I haven't gone to see a fertility specialist yet because I don't want to take artificial hormones, and fertility costs are so expensive. One of my infertility problems is that I have very low progesterone. I want to know if any women have had success using progesterone cream to get pregnant, and how long did it take before you conceived?Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?
    you can buy a natural progesterone cream for about $25.00 from a nature store. (without a prescription).... it is also healthier on your system as it is all natural and not artificial hormones... make sure to follow directions and within 3 months your progesterone should start to balance out.

    Good luck!

    ps. i use a brand called ';natural woman';Anyone had experience with using Progesterone Cream to get pregnant?
    I am 21 with a miscarriage in my past, I started using progesterone cream before I was pregnant again. I had ok levels but I wanted them to be GREAT. I started using it and it helped out alot. After getting pregnant this time I went on prometrium then crinone. Actually your gyno can do the test and then give you script. Maybe call and ask about it!! Good Luck!!
    Be careful, a lot of woman struggle with the side effects of progesterone. Look up as much as you can before you buy something cuz severe depression and anxiety are 2 of the major things that people talk about. I am on prog suppositories after IUI procedures and I hate it, I am sleepy all the time, have a headache, bloated, boobs hurt like heck and just feel down a lot.

    Progesterone will not help you to get pregnant, it will help you sustain the pregnancy once the egg has implanted into your uterus. Once your body knows its not pregnant each month you end up getting your period. If the egg doesnt get fertilized then 14 days after it is released it will “self destruct” and die then your body flushes it out which is your period. If your progesterone is low your body thinks you are not pregnant and it will flush out everything, even a fertilized egg.

    Make sure you get the progesterone from your doc or a pharmacist, its pretty potent stuff. Also, make sure you let your OB know you are taking it and have her/him take blood work on or around day 11 and then again on or around day 19 so they can see how your body is reacting to it.

    How does one apply under eye cream?

    Are you supposed to just dab it on ? Or is it okay to lightly smooth on? I always wonder if I'm doing it as effectively as possible.How does one apply under eye cream?
    I put 3 dots under my eyes with my ring finger .. and then with my ring finger dap it along under my eyes.

    I always heard if you smooth it and tug under your eyes, you'll get wrinkles or something! LOL that scared me so now I just dab.How does one apply under eye cream?
    pat it on, never rub. the skin underneath your eyes is the thinnest skin you have and very easily damaged and wrinkled. pat the cream on and use your ring fingers to do it. This will assure you don't apply too much pressure.
    you're supposed to use your ring finger, and put the cream on and rub your two ring fingers together to break it down a little. then use a quick dabbing motion to apply it. use the ring finger because the skin there is the thinnest on your whole body, and that finger is the weakest finger
    Under the eye...No seriously, what I do, is I take the pad of my fingertip and start dabbing and then I kind of keep doing that until it sinks in my skin. If I do rub, I do it very lightly.
    TIPS:

    1] use your ring finger - it isn't as strong as the others so you can't rub as hard.

    2] apply from top inside corner of upper lid, to top outside corner of upper lid; then down to bottom outside corner of lower lid, to bottom inside corner of lower lid. [ clockwise on one eye, counter-clockwise on other eye. ]

    I know this sounds silly, but it does work. Mix a little Preperation-H cream in with your moisturizer and apply it to the areas of your face you want to tighten. It's a temporary fix, but it does work!
    Try egg whites...they work great!

    Filling a thermos with hot coffee,is it a bad idea to add cream?

    Would it be unhealthy to drink it hours later?Filling a thermos with hot coffee,is it a bad idea to add cream?
    no, it is ok to add cream to the coffee in the thermos, but when you are ready to drink your coffee you will need to shake the thermos to mix the cream and coffee, the cream will settle so shake your thermos.Filling a thermos with hot coffee,is it a bad idea to add cream?
    I do it all the time. It has never hurt me.
    Yep its OK, just be sure to rinse it out at the end of the day. it gets kinda slimy
    No, but an overnight might find the coffee stale so I'd be certain that a nondairy creamer is used if you plan to ';reheat.'; Moreover, it makes alot of sense just to carry the small packets of sugar %26amp; creamer with you in your car and simply keep your coffee black in your thermos; it'll stay warmer longer too!
    its not unhealthy as long as u don't let it stay for too long
    no
    As long as your thermos is properly wased and dried there is no problem. I do it all the time.
    NO UNLESS THE COFFEE GETS COLD
    Yeah, I agree. I usually pour in the cream first, then the coffee. That way the coffee heats up the cream instead of the cream cooling down the coffee.
    No it's fine! I don't normally drink coffee, and never out of a thermos so my dad says it's fine, he does it all the time
    no it wouldnt be harmful, but in my thermos i use a powder like coffeemate or something
    I don't think so, I've had this argument with my boyfriend, I mean hot coffee is like freakin' scalding hot, right, so I would imagine it's killing the germs in the cream, and it's not like you're adding coffee to a dairy-cream base, so I think it's ok.

    Is it bad to eat ice cream that has ice frost on it?

    i have ice cream that has frost on it. is it bad to eat? how can i prevent it from happening again?Is it bad to eat ice cream that has ice frost on it?
    Well healthwise,it won't hurt you any,you just need to make sure that you seal your ice cream really well after you have opened it and used some of it. I know that in our house,ice cream doesn't last more than a week if that,so we eat it pretty quickly,but I always try to make sure that the ice cream is sealed really well after it has been opened! ;-)Is it bad to eat ice cream that has ice frost on it?
    TASTE IT. ANYTHING THAT TASTES BAD YOU WILL NOT EAT IT. TO PREVENT IT SEAL IT IN ZIP LOCK BAGS AND CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES. EVERYTHING GET CRYSTALIZED EVENTUALLY.
    It probably wont hurt you but it will taste like crapola. The only way to avoid it from happening again is to make sure it's sealed tight as possible and eat it before too much time passes. Ice cream doesn't last for more than a week at my house so I dont have that problem:o)
    No. IT's just water vapor frozen from when you opened the carton.

    How do I keep my ice-cream soft and delicious?

    So I bought some ice-cream yesterday and it was really great.

    Today, however, it's harder and not as delicious. I just opened it and stuck it in my freezer. What could have gone wrong?

    Anyway, is there a ';correct'; temperature to store ice-cream at or something? Or does it just decide to get hard after being opened?

    Also, I stored the ice-cream in my freezer for about 5 hours prior to opening it the first time.

    What's happening to it? How can I keep my ice-cream smooth and delectable?How do I keep my ice-cream soft and delicious?
    I laughed when i read this dont ask why

    but yeah make sure your freezer isnt high up always keep your lid tight and get double churned its so good and let it sit out 10 minutes priror to spooning more out?How do I keep my ice-cream soft and delicious?
    i think that realistically there is no way to keep it from hardening eventually, but it would be better to store it towards the front of the freezer, or the best place would be the door because the back of the freezer/fridge is always colder than the front. thats where the cooling source is...also. try putting some reynolds wrap over the container before placing the lid on it. im not sure that would work, but i dont think it would hurt to try. just a suggestion.
    HA, I'm not going to lie- I think this is such an adorable question! I laughed, too.

    Ahem, anyways. I've noticed with my own ice cream that depending on what kind I get, it's usually softer than other kinds. I couldn't tell you which kinds specifically are softer, because I don't actually pay that much attention, but yeah. Maybe if you try buying different kinds, you can figure out which ones are more delectable than others.

    Hope this helps. Good luck with your ice cream endeavor :)
    It's called hard-pack ice cream for a reason. If you want soft serve ice cream you will have to go to the Dairy Queen. Try nuking it for a couple of seconds. It should soften up around the edges.
    cover your ice cream with plastic wrap directly on the ice cream...put the lid back on and wrap plastic around the whole container. air is what is making it hard.

    How can I clean a grubby cream leather bag that cost a fortune but is now ruined ?!?

    not sure what u got on it, but COACH leather cleaner kicks butt! U can find it at a COACH store or online

    mandeeHow can I clean a grubby cream leather bag that cost a fortune but is now ruined ?!?
    Get some saddle soap from a pet shop, it's used on leather saddles but is brilliant for all leather goods.How can I clean a grubby cream leather bag that cost a fortune but is now ruined ?!?
    a baby wipe, works wonders.
    yeah i wouldn't take it to the dry cleaners as they can ruin leather at times take it to a leather specialist. As it depends what type of leather it is and whats made it all gruppy...I had a very soft whitle supple leather jacket and I used white shoe polish and and cloth to get rid of my marks but i guess they do cream. but if it was expensive i'd ask a leather specialist first.
    I had cream leather sofas and neices and nephews to boot, that didnt mix well and the result was grubby looking leather, the most inexpensive way to clean your bag without taking it to the cleaners is to buy leather sofa wipes, its just like baby wipes but for sofas, it will work exactly the same on your bag, and the sofas cleaned up a treat.
    a shoe mender, they do leather shoes but alo will mend and do other items too, they would know whats best to use
    I read in the sunday paper that a fashion designer cleans her handbag with Pledge polish. Not sure if it works but worth a go!

    Ta
    depends on what you grubbied it up with. call a leather shop and tell them what happened to it.
    take it to the drycleaners..they will clean it like leather.....(they then send it out to a reputable leather -cleaner)

    My husband is now allergic to Lactose, soy,corn, and gluten. I looked at the non dairy creamers but the main ingriedient is high fructose corn syrup.What is a good substitute for cream?
    That's going to be a problem, as many vegan creamers are made from soy. And as you've seen, the so-called non-dairy creamers (which have a bit of casein in them, so they aren't vegan) are a scary blend of chemicals.

    He could try putting rice milk or nut milk in his coffee, but it won't have the same taste and texture as creams.What is a good substitute for cream?
    Maybe almond milk, rice milk, cashew milk, walnut milk, peanut milk, hemp milk, or hazelnut milk.

    (If you google cashew milk and walnut milk recipes will come up. And if you google peanut milk there is a website where you can order it from)

    thank you in advance for you help.What is the best Camouflage cream to cover Vitiligo?
    go to riobeauty.com and have a look at their camo cream. It's quite cheap and comes with an array of brushes, sponges and an instruction dvd. There are others such as covermark as well. Also, there are organisations that can help your wife learn to apply it successfully, I don't know where in the world you are, but if you're in.... the UK, by the looks of your picture! If so, speak to British Red Cross

    The systemic absorption is negligible and is ineffective for treating any internal organ disease and hence it is not available as a medicine to be ingested.You had a very short contact period and perhaps it can't enter the blood stream or in sufficient quantity to cause any drug interaction or allergy.

    How would I make homemade cream of mushroom soup for a casserole?

    Most casseroles call for undiluted condensed soup. You could probably substitute a can or two of well drained muchroom pieces and a cup or so of heavy white sauce but home made cream of mushroom soup will be too thin to work in your casserole.

    **Many, if not most, anti aging creams, cleansers, moisturizers, skin products are skin harming ,skin aging cause severe irritation, even cause acne and worse. Some have been pulled from market, notably in France, because of cancer causing scares.(confirm with a Google)

    I have had truly remarkable success diminishing forehead lines, crows feet, under eye and laugh lines by special massaging using completely safe, low cost, essential oils. Olive, almond and jojoba are excellent. Rubbing on the lines over and over greatly reduces them and helps prevent others forming. Forehead: Use front of fingers held together and, starting from one side of forehead, do a series of short forward and back strokes - about 5 or 6 - blending one into the next all the way to the other side. For best, quickest results, do quite vigorously for a minute or more. Crows Feet: Can be very quickly greatly minimized by rubbing up and down on them quite vigorously with first three fingers held close together. Laugh lines: Using finger tips to massage vigorously directly along the length of the line with finger tips (first tighten skin there by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth). Even deep lines can be greatly diminished. For faster results do 2 or 3 times or a day. See clear fading of lines in one to three weeks - depending on how often and how vigorous you have have made it.

    Massage entire face and it will feed skin vital nourishing nutrients. Even the first day skin will tighten, look and feel firmer, fresher and revitalized and develop a healthy glow. If do daily will quickly rid face of any blemishes, correct any sagging and other aging signs. Has greatly helped many to rejuvenate face. Oils are perfect, safe moisturizers. You will never need any other, Oils absorb quickly into skin. Do not wash off - splash with water and tissue dry. See my many other answers - wrinkles, lines, sagging, anti aging, rejuvenation, etc.and more detailed info on how best to massage. I have testimonials from happy users who vouch for it's effectiveness.

    What is the best acne cream to prevent zits?

    i dont have very many zits yet but i have oily skin and i think i will get them soonWhat is the best acne cream to prevent zits?
    Proactive. :D

    That's what ended up working for me after a few other products failed.What is the best acne cream to prevent zits?
    Alright I am 14 and I use to have like really bad acne I felt like giving up and I know I probably sound like fake but I got proactive for christmas and its my life savor I dont have anymore acne or oily skin and now they have a specific scrub to control oily skin by itself...
    Well you have to be careful and figure out what is causing the breakouts/zits? If your younger and have combination/oil type skin, loading up on the zit cream may be causing you MORE problems and I personally discovered this the hard way. More often than not what you need to do is combine a zit cream (most over-the-counter creams work just fine, but my preference is Mary Kay) with a facial daily lotion designed for combination to oily skin. What happens to a lot of people is that they use all these ';drying'; type formulas and their face produces even more oil to try to compensate and results in more acne. With a facial cream designed for your skin type your skin oils will be balanced out and will not overproduce oil which leads to acne.
    seachi.com have good creams
    The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.

    Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC difference in my blackheads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
    klear action is the best
    Acne Free is a good regime - skin care is very individual as long as you do something every day, and every night - to prevent acne break outs you should get a handle on them - be consistent and if your skin is oily use a shampoo for oily hair.
    Try Clinique 3-Step. It helps and it makes me have clear skin. First you wash it on with the face wash, then you take the cleanser and wipe it on with cotton balls. Then you wipe on the moisterizur.
    noooooooo, dont' use st. ives on your face... that's so rough on your skin. maybe on your knees or something. just wash your face with normal soap (what you use to wash your hands with) and with warm water. then dry your face and put on an oil-free moisturizer (walmart has a good store brand of this for about 2 dollars, it's a store brand of ';oil of olay';). don't use more than the size of a nickel for your whole face. then get a paper towel (you can even use toilet paper if it's sanitary) and blot off any extra oil left behind from from the moisturizer... your face should not feel/look wet or shiny. then you're done.
    St.Ives apricot scrub..3.99 at walmart.its great!
    try acnefree it is way better than proactive, but 4 only $20!!
    the stridex pads at walmart
    KAST
    proactive is the best..all the celebrities use itt..so does my sister and she is zit-freee ;]
    oily skin means u have healthy skin just do basic cleaning to your face once a day and drink water and eat fruit/veg, when u do get a zit rub a lil garlic on it and it will go. zit creams will irritate ur skin
    The best acne cream or wash will depend on your skin. The best way to figure yours out is to consult a dermatologist, but if you can't afford one, you should try out a few things and see which one works best for you. For me it was Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne wash.

    Good luck!
    The best thing to get is acutaine, it's a pill, but it's expensive and has many harmful side effects. It worked for me while I was in high school, unfortunately I still get the odd one here and there.
    I use acne free. It'd the cheaper version of proactive and as long as you use it every morning and night it works really well.
    Try using a face cleanser that has glycolic acid (the bottle might say: glycolic compound) MD forte and MD formulations carry this sort of product. It is great for gently exfoliating the skin (the acid accomplishes this). Trying products with harsh beads or granules will only irritate the skin further. Products with benzoyl peroxide have been popular but some may develop a tolerance to it; thus reducing its effectiveness.
    -Use Neutrogena oil-free range which includes oil-free facial wash, oil-free mosturiser and daily facial scrub

    -The facial wash and mosturiser control production oil on the face and removes acne coz they both salicylic acid.

    -The daily scrub removes the top layer of dead skin which also contains scars and black-heads. This gives room for a smooth and clear skin. It prevents further breakouts

    -Blot your skin with blotting papers to absorb excess oil on your face any time your face gets shiny.

    -Use oil-free and scent-free make up to prevent breakout of acne

    -Avoid sugary and fatty food and drink more water. Also eat fresh fruits and veges
    dont use clearasill it makes spots worse .. my friend her face was covered in acne and she used freederm for about 1 month and her face started clearing up .. i recoment it .. in the UK - it's 拢9.99 not sure bout in the USA..

    How popular is Heinz Salad Cream in the UK?

    I live in Texas and I have just started buying Heinz Salad Cream because I am getting kind of tired of mayonnaise. Salad cream is not popular in the States. About 99% of Americans don't even know what it is. Since it is an import from the UK I was wondering how popular it is.How popular is Heinz Salad Cream in the UK?
    Who does he play for?How popular is Heinz Salad Cream in the UK?
    Well, I grew up in England and it was way more popular than mayonaise that's for sure. Salad-cream and lettuce sandwiches were not uncommon in my house as a kid. Last time I was in England, it was still stacked high in the supermarkets so I'm going to say that it's still popular. In 2000, Heinz said they were going to stop making it but I guess they were pursuaded not to. Crosse %26amp; Blackwell also make it and I think theirs is better anyway. But it's been a long time since I moved to the USA and I'm not paying import prices!
    To save a few dollar, make it yourself, mayo, dry mustard, cider vinegar, sugar and a dash of paprika.

    I am from Canada, we have it here also, but it is $3.99 (CAN) for a 500 ml or 16 oz bottle, I had it when I was in the UK, and my grandmother used to give it to us when I was a lad, the salad cream that is.
    It's not as popular as it used to be because it used to be all there was. Now we have so many choices and so many different prices everybody can have a different brand.

    Heinz is however still a household name, it's popular.
    I love salad cream, salads are very boring without it, I also love it with chips and on my chip buttie. It is a national institution in the UK, very popular.
    I think most people i know eat mayonnaise to be honest, i remember my parents buying it when i was a kid but i have never bought it. I had Caesar dressing on my chicken pittas tonight!
    I prefer it to mayo .. although it contains a bit of mayo.

    at one point they were gonna stop it here.. gutted.. it's lush on chips (or u would call fries.. but the ones more like wedges)

    it's not the most popular thing though.
    People used to put up with it, before they discovered gorgeous Hellmann's mayonnaise from the US!

    Salad cream is probably only eaten by the over-70s here, just out of habit. Because it's not very nice!!!

    What is the best eye cream to keep from getting wrinkles?

    Whats the best eye cream for preventing wrinkles and reducing fine linesWhat is the best eye cream to keep from getting wrinkles?
    drug store choice : Oil of Olay

    department store choice: Clinique All about eyesWhat is the best eye cream to keep from getting wrinkles?
    Recently I discovered using extra virgin olive oil on my face works just as good if not better then any store bought face and eye cream. And believe me, I have cupboards full! I'd heard it was really good but was afraid to try it but a few weeks ago, I gave it a go and I will never go back to those creams and serums I'd been using for years. I use it straight from the bottle and that's all I need. No serum, no eye cream. My skin is healthy and even toned. The lines that were around my eyes have vanished. When summer comes around, I will have to find something to protect me from the sun but in the mean time, I'll stick with the E.V.O.O.! Save your money and try it! You only need a few drops and your skin absorbs it immediately so you're not left with an oily face. Also, there is no smell. So don't worry about smellng like a salad.

    I hope this helps.
    since there are many factors that can affect the skin like sudden change of weather, too much exposure to the sun, drugs and medication as well as unhealthy habits. avoiding all of these can be a big help for they all have negative impact on the skin, since they cause the skin to become dehydrated and dull.

    be able also to have a good skin care regime as well as a good skin care program. use an all natural skin care product for it is found to be safe and effective for all skin types. try also to have well-balanced diet, drink plenty of water and have enough sleep and exercise to help the skin look clean and healthy. for more tips to have healthy skin visit http://www.skinsosilky.com
    Well, really the only thing that has been proven to prevent age is sunscreen, so I would get either an eye cream or a lotion that is broad spectrum and has an spf of at least 15. Some lotions make skin look younger by swelling up the skin temporarily. So, it might help in that way too. Avon has a good eye cream from the ANEW line. I usually just use my facial moisturizer under my eyes. It is Cetaphil Daily Moisturizing Lotion, with an SPF of 15. My dermatologist recommeded it. I hope that this helps.
    Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the face with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water. HELP !

    i need to know this !

    i searched all over the internet and could not find nutrition information ..How many calories does one scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream ?
    please honey, i was 130 lbs and thought i needed to lose weight so i started dieting. eat 800 Cal's or less and exercising like a mad women. In 4 month es i lost 30 lbs. Well now IM considered anorexic, doctor wants to send me to an eating disorder place, my family is all worried. U sound just like me. id ask a question about everything i put into my mouth. I was scared to eat a banana hearing that there fattening, that's rubbish. its a FREAKING BANANA! IM getting help now with my family and IM trying to eat right. IM 18 years old 5 ft 2 in. I look gross, sick and a string bean. I thought i would love being thin, i was inspired by Nicole Richie. She was like my idol. I adored everything about her. Her weight, her clothing, her voice everything. I just need to realize i wasn't fat before, just like you arnt. yes of course we have the parts we wish we could change, mine was my tummy. i hate it and i still think its disgusting. But you know what, who cares? Learn to love yourself and people will love you just the same as they did before. Just eat normal, i stopped drinking soda and wont touch it again. These major places i will never eat at again, McDonald's, burger king, Kfc, Wendys, arbys. I blam them for making people fat. i do love pizza tho and its good. Another thing is when your trying to diet u usually cut all your favorite foods out, well i did that and started binge eating AND purging. I would eat so much(boxes of graham crackers, bags of marshmallows, chocolate, cream cheese, pizza, crackers, cereal, sugar, butter, ect) withen an hour or 2 and not be able to move. my stomach would be hard as a rock and sometimes i could puke because it hurt to much to move. Do you know what can happen if you eat WAY to much? You stomach lining can rip and tear open and you can bleed to death, and when you purge, the acid eats away your throat. its horrible. I am trying to gain 10-15 lbs now the healthy way.

    I hated the feeling when i was 130 LBS thinking i was fat and people stared at me. but actually i rmb when people would stare at me and i would get compliments telling me i look beautiful and id get all the looks from guys, now i dont. PPL look at me like IM some freak.

    For how long can hazelnut cream cheese spread be out of the fridge?

    O.k so right now it's about 12:30 and I just finished my lunch break and a have a hazelnut spread that I opened before going to lunch but now that I came back, the office fridge is not working. So my question is if it will go bad if it's not in the fridge, I want to take it home but I don't get out until 4:30. Will it be good until then ?For how long can hazelnut cream cheese spread be out of the fridge?
    2 hours, many more if you put it on ice. The ideal temperature is 38-40 degrees F with a shelf life of 7 days. Take it home it won't kill you.

    You go to a party and the spread was put out at 6pm, you arrived at 8:30 after dinner, then snacked on it at 10. If and it should be, most dairy is pasteurized, it's probably safe.

    Don't worry as long as those hazelnuts hadn't gone rancid.

    The growth pattern of bacteria goes rapidly as time progresses. After the 3rd hour it's x10,000, 4th hour x100,000, and the 5th x 1,000,000. 10-12 hrs. it's in the billions and visible to the naked eye!

    The Pasteurization process 145 degrees F for 30 minutes or 161 degrees F for at least 15 seconds.

    What's the best cellulite cream, and what are the dos and donts to maintain a cellulite free thigh?

    there are so many cellulite cream nowadays. any good ones(hopefully not too expensive!) that's easy to use and requires renewal a few times a year only? i dont want anything that you have to use everyday the whole year for the rest of my lfe. plus, any eating habits that should be change to reduce it?What's the best cellulite cream, and what are the dos and donts to maintain a cellulite free thigh?
    Develop an exercise program that is designed to help remove your body fat content. Exercise is an effective way of reducing the amount of cellulite that you have. Effective exercise programs will need to include cardio, strength training and flexibility training. You should try working out at least 3 to 4 times a week.

    Buy a moisturizer that has a sunless tanner mixed in. The moisturizer will hydrate you skin and reduce the severity of the rippling. The sunless tanner will darken you skin making your cellulite less visible. This is a great cosmetic trick to hide cellulite while you work on lowering your body fat content.

    Shop for a quality cellulite treatment cream. There are a lot of these products on the market. You want to look for a cream that contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients.

    Try skin brushing. This technique is very simple and relatively inexpensive. Simply use a loofah sponge or a soft body brush and scrub your hips, thighs and belly. This not only helps you to exfoliate, but it also stimulates blood flow and supports lymph functions. This will help to minimize the appearance of cellulite.

    A multi-faceted approach works best when trying to remove cellulite. Try matching a diet and exercise program with topical creams that include anti-oxidants.

    hope this helped =)What's the best cellulite cream, and what are the dos and donts to maintain a cellulite free thigh?
    I use one from Avon. It's the only one they sell, I'm actually out of it so I don't have the bottle to tell you what it's called. You don't have to use it habitually although you do want to use it at least a few times a week. I use it about 2 to 3 times a week and have definitely noticed a world of a difference. Since it's from Avon its quite inexpensive. not sure about eating habits. i have serious eating issues, 'cause that's all i ever want to do, hehe...but the cream definitely works :)

    What is the best ice cream maker for under 100 dollars.?

    Not with the rock salt or ice. The automatic kind that you don't have to churn. Which is the best for making hard ice cream. to stop blackheads in there tracks:

    be sure to clean your face after wearing makeup and before going to bed.

    Keep your hair of your face as alot of dust and dirt can come of your hair and make your pores fill with dirt.

    if you work in the city - carry moist wipes that are alcohol free and be sure to wipe your face, nose and forehead when near a mirror to stop oil patches forming and blackhead ';farms'; (eewww) expanding.

    Benzoil peroxide can be dangeously inflamming to the skin and should be used in the smallest dosages.
    Try baking soda mixed with water to make a paste then leave it on your skin till dry (about 5 min.)

    P.S. Also helps acne!

    Hope this helps!!!
    Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. How to make Homemade Ice Cream with Machine?

    I just bought an icecream machine but not sure if it's working right,

    First i mix the ingredients then take the freezer bowl out of the freezer and turn on the machine. After about 30 minutes I check it and it's just cold it's not firm or looks anything like ice cream, is this normal or is my machine not working right? Please help.How to make Homemade Ice Cream with Machine?
    After 30 minutes it should be like a soft serve ice cream if it's not maybe you should take it back and tell them it's not working right.How to make Homemade Ice Cream with Machine?
    I'm assuming that you have an electric ice cream machine, like a Cuisinart. First you put the freezer container in the freezer overnight. Then you mix your ingredients, put the ingredients in the refrigerator to get very cold, maybe a couple of hours, of preferably overnight. Now you are ready to make your ice cream. Take the freezer container out of the freezer, insert it into your ice cream machine, insert the paddle (this is VERY important, as it won't work without the paddle), dump the cream ingredients into the container, turn on your machine, and you should have soft ice cream in about 30 minutes. Remove the container from the machine, remove the paddle from the container, cover tightly with plastic wrap,and/or foil, or if you wish, empty the ice cream into another plastic container, and put this back in the freezer to ripen and harden. After a few hours, you will have your ice cream. It's time consuming, but the flavor is wonderful, and you know what you are eating, unlike some store bought ice creams. Hope this helps. If this doesn't work, I would definitely take the machine back to where you purchased it, and get another one, or contact the manufacturer by e mail or phone, and see if they could help you.
    you take the ingedients that your using then you put it all in the middle of a homemade ice cream machine,around the outside of the machicne you put rock salt..on the old fashion machines there used to be a crank that you had to turn around,around.the rock salt made the ice cream freeze and creamy.now you can get one that is electric much easier to use and much faster too..once it is done you have the best ice cream in the world..have fun and enjoy..
    You need rock salt with most machines. I don't see where you said you added the rock salt. Really just add your cream, sugar, eggs and flavouring to a canister taped shut. Place it into a larger canister, with room to add ice and rock salt. seal it shut and roll it around your front yard with the kids. They will have alot of fun, and when it no longer sounds liquid, open and enjoy.
    you put your ingredients in the middle can part like the cream sugar and vanilla... then put it in the ice part of the maker. turn on, and put about two inces of ice around the edges and then put 7 tablesppons of salt over the ice. repeat until it is full to the top. let it run until it is like a soft serve, then put in the freezer to harden all the way.

    Nivea Visage Q-10 eye cream. I also have sensitive and oily skin, but I have never had a problem with Nivea. It's very gentle and non-irritating. It's also fragrance-free if you have allergies. I haven't ever found another eye cream I liked better. And it relatively inexpnsive, too. They sell it at drugstores and discount stores.

    Bitter Orange Ice Cream

    * Servings: 6

    * Level of difficulty: Easy

    * Preparation Time: 10 minutes, , plus 3-5 hours freezing time

    Ingredients

    * 3 Seville orange, or 1 eating orange and 2 limes

    * 175g icing sugar

    * 584ml double cream, a large pot

    Method

    1. If using Seville oranges, grate the zest of two of them. Squeeze the juice of all 3 and pour into a bowl with the zest. If going for the sweet-orange and lime option, grate the zest of the orange and one of the limes, juice them.

    2. Add to the sugar and stir to dissolve then add the double cream.

    3. Whip everything until it holds soft peaks, and then turn into a shallow airtight container (of approximately 2 litres) with a lid. Cover and freeze until firm (from 3-5 hours).

    4. Remove to ripen for 15-20 minutes (or 30-40 in the fridge) before eating. Serve in a bowl, in cones, with wafers - however you like.

    Cooks note: I know that suggesting home-made ice cream for an easy after-work supper makes me sound as if I'm going into deranged superwoman overdrive, but may I put the case for the defence?

    All you do to make this is zest and juice some fruit, add icing sugar and cream, whisk and freeze. This requires no stirring or churning and it tastes unlike anything you could buy. So if you've got friends coming over for the curry you can serve this for pudding to amazed admiration without giving yourself anything approaching a hard time. I use my KitchenAid for this, but a cheap handheld electric mixer would do fine; and frankly, a hand whisk wouldn't kill you.

    I made this with Seville oranges, but since these are available only in January here, it would be unhelpfully restricting to suggest no substitutes out of season (though you always could freeze the oranges, either whole or just their zest and juice). I won't lie to you and say that my suggested substitutes are quite as magnificent as the original - nothing can provide that biting, aromatic intensity that you get from Seville oranges, which have the taste of orange and the ravaging sourness of lemons - but ordinary eating oranges combined with lime juice provides a glorious tangy and fragrant hit of their own.

    Chocolate chip cookie ice cream

    * Servings: 4-6

    * Level of difficulty: Intermediate

    Ingredients

    * 250g mascarpone cheese

    * 250ml whole milk

    * 100g light muscovado sugar

    * 150g chocolate chip cookies

    Method

    1. Put the mascarpone, milk and sugar in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine and churn until almost frozen.

    2. Fold in the crumbled cookies and continue churning until the mixture is completely frozen.

    3. Transfer to a freezer proof container and freeze until ready to serve.

    4. If you're making the ice cream without a machine, put the container in the freezer and wait until the mixture is almost solid. Then take it out of the freezer and beat it well with a wire whisk or electric beater until smooth, then return to the freezer. Repeat the process twice more to break down the ice crystals, folding in the crumbled cookies before returning to the freezer for the final time.

    Cook's note

    Choose good-quality cookies, made with butter if possible - and of course with plenty of chocolate chips.

    Double Chocolate Ice Cream

    * Servings: 750ml

    * Level of difficulty: Easy

    * Preparation Time: 15 minutes, plus extra freezing time

    * Cooking Time: 10 minutes

    Ingredients

    For the chocolate cream

    * 300g dark chocolate, finely chopped

    * 250ml Milk

    * 250ml double cream

    * 25g caster sugar

    For the mousse

    * 4 large egg yolks

    * 150g caster sugar

    * 150ml water

    Method

    1. Reserve 100g of the chocolate for adding to the ice cream later on, and tip the remaining 200g into a heatproof bowl. Scald the milk, double cream and sugar in a saucepan. Pour over the chocolate and stir until dissolved. Leave on one side until cool.

    2. Whisk the egg yolks until pale and creamy with an electric whisk, or in a food mixer.

    3. Place the sugar in a small pan and pour over the water. Dissolve the sugar, over a moderate heat, stirring occasionally. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

    4. Pour the hot syrup onto the beaten egg yolks, in a thin steady stream, whisking as you go.

    5. Continue whipping until the egg yolk mixture has thickened and is mousse-like - it should take about 5 minutes on top speed.

    6. Stir the cooled chocolate cream, add the reserved chocolate chips and stir to blend everything together. Pour into an ice cream churner and churn until frozen. Alternatively, you could freeze the mixture in the freezer, beating it every hour or so to break up any ice crystals and ensure that the chocolate chips are evenly mixed in.

    7. Transfer into a plastic tub and cover with a well-fitting lid. When you're ready to serve, take the ice cream out of the freezer and leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes before scooping out and serving.

    Variations, add a dash of your favourite liqueur for an extra-special flavour - orange liqueur, Madeira, cognac and rum are good choices. Don't add too much though, otherwise the ice cream won't set properly.

    Soak 100g raisins in your favourite liqueur for 2-3 hours, and add to the ice cream mixture before freezing.

    Toasted nuts add a crunchy texture - almonds, pecans and pistachios go particularly well with the rich chocolate flavour.

    2. Squeeze the juice of all 3 lemons and pour into a bowl with the zest and sugar.

    3. Stir to combine and leave for 30 minutes, to allow the flavour to develop.

    4. Whisk the cream with the water until it holds soft peaks, then whisk in the sweetened lemon juice

    Easy Strawberry Ice Cream

    Method

    3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine. Chill according to the manufacturer's instructions.

    4. Pour into a freezer-proof container, cover the surface with cling film and freeze until hard.How do you make ice cream?
    You get two coffee cans and two containers that are smaller than the coffee cans that can shut. You boil this cream and add vanilla and the you put it in the small plastic containers. then you put the containers in the coffee cans and then put crushed ice and big pieces of salt in. close the coffe lids with the plastic container inside. roll it around for about and hour then keep adding ice. this is the more homemade and complicated way. but an easyier way is to just get an ice cream maker machine. have fun!
    you can buy this soccer ball type thing fromm LL Bean and you add the ingredients they give you and some other things like milk, ice, etc (directions included) and kick it around for a while. (depending on size)
    buy an ice cream maker and read the directions duh
    A very easy way to do this is:

    Get a large bowl, a LOT of ice, and some salt. Also, a glass that's about the height of the bowl, cream, and milk. Get some flavor powder if desired.

    Put the glass in the bowl. Put the ingredients and the flavoring (if desired) and mix together. Put ice around the glass in the bowl about one fourth of the height of the bowl. Sprinkle an even, thin layer of salt on the ice. Repeat this step until ice gets about the heighth of the glass. Stir every so often for two hours, or until cold and creamy. Enjoy your ice cream!
    get some ice and cream. yay!

    Is there an pasta sauce that you can make out of light cream and french onion soup?

    Minimal ingredients please.Is there an pasta sauce that you can make out of light cream and french onion soup?
    I think it will be fairly bland, but there are a few things you could try:

    Agree with the person who suggests carbonara - brown bacon or ham (and diced onion and garlic if you have it), make the soup up with half the liquid suggested, or liquid stock if you have it (preferable), add to pan, simmer to reduce to half again, and add cream to desired consistency.

    Or if you have ground or diced beef onhand, go for a stroganoff approach (I'd probably prefer this one):

    Add a big splash of lemon juice to the cream, mix thoroughly and leave aside. Brown the meat (and diced onion/garlic as before), add onion soup made up with half amount of liquid beef stock or water, perhaps a couple of tablespoons tomato paste or a finely chopped tomato, simmer down until it's looking a bit thick and gloopy, then again add the soured cream slowly to desired consistency.

    I'd probably recommend the beef version because French onion soup is a bit 'darker' tasting than plain onion, and because ground beef or stew beef benefits from a long slow cooking, which will give your soup time to reduce and the flavours time to intensify.

    If doing the carbonara, the other option is browning the meat so you have flavours in the pan, then removing and keeping warm while the sauce cooks, then adding again 5 minutes before the end of cook time. Cream sauces do better over egg noodles or flat pasta like fettucine or linguine.Is there an pasta sauce that you can make out of light cream and french onion soup?
    Cream, butter, onion, bacon, flat noodles, cheese = Carbonara

    A lot of recipes call for room temperature cream cheese, but how long can I actually leave it out so that it doesn't spoil, but it is still soft for easy mixing?How long can I leave cream cheese out so it's soft?
    Honestly, hours. It won't spoil. I wouldn't leave it out overnight. And let's say you need half the package? Cut out the part you need and put the rest in the fridge. Let the part you are using stand until it's just as soft as you want it to be, room temp. Take it out in the am if you cook for lunh. It will be fine!!How long can I leave cream cheese out so it's soft?
    I leave mine out overnight and I've never had a problem. I've worked with chefs that leave it out for days.
    Leave it out for about one hour and it'll be soft enough to work with. Leave it out for about 4 hours before you need to really think twice.

    You already have the sugar cookie dough, follow the directions and bake.

    Whip the cream %26amp; add vanilla extract - stiff peaks.

    Make sugar cookie sandwiches, just think how delicious it will be licking all that whipped cream oozing from the sides of the sandwiches not to mention your fingers. Mmmm

    You could, of course, decorate the cookies with the whipped cream but that seems like it wouldn't be as much fun.What's a delicious %26amp; fun dessert that I can make with heavy cream and store-bought sugar cookie dough?
    Sorry I didn't mention the sugar, being a diabetic I forgot about it. I do add sugar for the family. I hope it was fun. Thank you, Happy New Year Report Abuse

    You have the basics for making Napoleans- cream filled pastry deserts. See the first link below for various recipes.

    I suggest you line a 10'; x 15'; jelly-roll pan with foil or parchment paper, then grease the lining, and roll out the cookie dough to fill it. Bake until done, which may be sooner than the time listed. Lift the lining and cookie from the pan and set on a flat surface to cool. When it reaches room temperature place the cookie in the refrigerator to chill.

    Whip the cream till soft peaks form, add sugar a tablespoon at a time and the vanilla, whipping till stiff peaks form. The second link shows many ways to make whipped cream.

    When the cookie dough is chilled cut it into evenly sized pieces about 2'; x 3.'; Spread the whipped cream on the bottom of one slice, and place a 2nd slice on top to form a sandwich. For variation spread seedless raspberry jam (or your personal favorite) on the bottom cookie, then spread the whipped cream, then top with the second cookie. Place filled cookies in the freezer to set for 20 - 30 minutes. Keep refrigerated until serving time.
    Do you have a box of pudding mix? (Or cornstarch and cocoa to make it from scratch?)

    Make a pie-crust out of the sugar cookie dough, bake it, fill with pudding and top with whipped cream.

    Hi, friend

    pls check the website www.madboots.com

    hope this will help u

    :)
    Chocolate (dark brown) goes great with cream, it's another 'warm' tone - I suggest this colour.

    Grey would look nice, it would look wintery.

    Camel would look OK, but I'm not really a fan of that colour.

    Tan would be too matchy-matchy I think.

    Black could go with it, but it depends what pants you wear etc.

    The more coloured ones, eg. Tomato and Aqua would be difficult to wear with cream.

    Hope I helped!
    Dark tan or light tan
    dark brown aka chocolate.

    the sand/tan ones would look too matchy matchy.
    Tan would look really good! Especially if you're wearing dark pants because of the whole colour contrasting-really-well sort of thing :)
    the tan color is really ugly in my opinion becuase it doesnt really GO with anything. I would say that cream color or the chocolate brown (preferred) but it really depends on what color pants. :) HOPE I COULD BE OF ASSISTANCEE!!! :P

    I wouldn't necessarally go with the short ones... tall ones might make you look taller :)

    prefferably gray.
    I personally would wear the tan colored ones with some mustard or dirty washed jeans

    Would it taste bad if I mixed 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into a batter of chocolate?

    I want to make cupcakes but I want to expirement with different things so would it taste bad if I put 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into a duncan hines devils food batter to make cupcakes?Would it taste bad if I mixed 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into a batter of chocolate?
    If you mix it in, it's not going to bake right.

    You should bake the stuff first and then hollow it out and put the ice cream inside like cream filling. You could also serve it as hot and put the ice creme on top a la mode... MMM!Would it taste bad if I mixed 1 cup of vanilla ice cream into a batter of chocolate?
    Sounds good,but I am not sure how it will come out.....watery i would think
    try it out and see what happens, ya never know you might end up making a new flavor and be rich.
    If you put that into the batter along with everything else you'll just ruin it. Too much liquid. Make the cupcakes - have the ice cream on the side.
    no i think that sounds good
    Wow! no that sounds heavenly. I dont know if it will change the taste except to make them too sweet but definitely email me and tell me how that turns out.
    Mix up a very small sample to taste for yourself. Vanilla and chocolate usually go very well together. Also, tasting ahead of time could give you a better idea of how much vanilla ice cream to add. You don't want the cupcakes to be killer sweet.
    It won't taste bad, but melt it and use it in place of the 1 cup of the water. If it calls for less water, use that amount of ice cream.
    well idk why dont you try it? you said you wanted to experiment
    never tried it...but don't want to....
    oh that sounds sooooooo good!! try it and let us know how it turns out!
    that sounds good! lol
    sounds good :)
    it would water it down unless you're adding ice cream in place of another ingredient.
    it might turn out creamy..dont you think? but you should just try it out first.
    it wouls tast good but i don't know if your cupcakes would work out.
    Hmmmm.. do you have taste buds? Hey, btw, add strawberries and you got NEOPOLITAN.. i'm sure it will taste just fine dear.
    I really don't care if it turns out bad. You are morally obligated to try it!! I mean....think about it, ice cream in cupcake batter....it doesn't ';sound'; like a mistake. I wish more people would think like you :)

    good luck
    The ice cream would just melt and make a mess. Try adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract instead.
    Try some sour cream instead. The vanilla wouldn't get past the chocolate and the added ingredients will alter how it bakes. You could also add almond or hazelnut flavoring or orange flavoring instead. Coffee also makes chocolate richer tasting too.
    that sounds really really really good... i would say try it i can't think of a reason that it wouldn't
    Shouldn't taste bad at all. Your just adding Vanilla. Try It.
    It would not taste bad. You would have to substitute the ice cream for the liquid (water) in the cake recipe. There is no guarantee that the cupcakes will come out like they are suppose to with that substitution.
    It would probably taste good, but I am sure it will be very mushy. Just make the cupcakes and put ice cream on the side.
    yes it would what were you thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    It would be good.

    I made cookies last year that called for vanilla icecream as an ingredient so I don't think it would hurt what you are making.

    It sould be interesting.

    Good luck
    That sounds absolutly wonderful but the ice cream would melt and make the mix to thin and won't bake right. Call the bakery and find out. They might know. Good luck cuz that sounded great.
    that would be just like adding more sugar and milk.
    I think that would taste horrible....maybe is you use duncan hines brownie mix bake it then you should add some vanilla ice cream with some cherries,whipped cream,and maybe some drizzeled chocolate on top
    if you want to experiment then try! you dont' no til you try just try it and find out key work.. experimenting
    yeh
